Responsible for building and leading the Autel Design Team in Milan, our goal was to deliver tailored solutions for the European and North American EV charging markets.
I took the lead in talent recruitment, continuously finding solutions to overcome communication challenges caused by cultural differences.
I proactively planned the team’s growth with a three-year plan while also engaging in strategic activities to understand the local market and identify new opportunities.
We consistently supported the HQ Design team in refining ongoing products while also serving as a strategic team for Autel Robotics, providing advanced design insights and market analysis for new developments.

Lead Product XP Designer

I was invited by the Design Director to help reorganize the company's design competency, uniting designers from different Business Units into a single department.
Drawing on my previous experience, I planned and implemented new design tools and processes, managing budgets, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers. This expertise also enabled me to build the Modelshop from scratch, integrating the latest technologies for rapid physical and digital prototyping.
Responsible for product design team outputs, I was a hands-on leader who developed concepts and new products to fit European and Chinese markets for Haier, Hoover and Candy brands on all product categories. In my day-to-day role, I also acted as a bridge between physical and digital experiences and facilitated communication between the Design Team and Business Unit leadership.

I had the opportunity to be part of the small team that founded the Design Center in Milan. I supported the Design Director in defining and managing industrial design technological assets and setting up a small but well-equipped model shop for rough prototypes.
As the main Industrial Designer, I naturally took the lead in advanced design and OBM/OEM/ODM product development for Chinese and global markets.
My role covered research, defining design strategy based on brand and market segmentation, and leading concept development and execution. I also traveled frequently for trend research and HQ visits in Foshan, China.

Designing solutions in Casted Stainless Steel for heat treatment trays and special fixture elements to support high precision automotive parts during different heat treatment processes. I implemented in these companies the use of CAD, increasing the efficiency and reducing the time to market.
