Our first project from the newly created Autel Milan Design Center focused on NA and EMEA markets. It began with a deep dive at Shenzhen Autel's HQ, meeting key stakeholders and exploring the EV charging landscape.
The research combined competitor product analysis with feedback from final users, independent installers, and B2B clients.
Each decision was shaped by real needs and market dynamics.
The minimal, high-tech aesthetic was carefully developed to elevate the user experience and quality perception.
From its clean shape with reduced parting lines and refined edges to the CMF choices, every detail reflects a deep trend analysis and design craftmanship.
The Magic Ring offers light guidance and intuitive feedback, with the possibility in a premium version to replace it with a metallic finish for a more architectural presence.
Front panels can be easily swapped, offering several color options for users and brand personalization for B2B partners.
EV charger that suits different scenarios
Modular UI and technical features support a wide price range, and the Plug and Play system simplifies installation, making the EV charger adaptable to both home and public scenarios. This flexibility suits the needs of DIY users as well as professional electricians.
